Our Objectives
Firstly a complete return to the practice of the Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet(peace be upon Him), according to understanding of the (the pious Predecessors).
Secondly to purify everything related to the life of the Muslim against Shirk (associating partners with Allah) in its various forms and to warn against bid’ah(innovations) of all types and deviated aspects in our complete ISLAMIC WAY of life.
Thirdly to educate and cultivate our community in there true ISLAMIC WAY OF LIFE; and to call them to act according to its rulings, cultivate within ourselves the morals and noble manners of Islam.
Fourthly to try and find practical Islamic solutions for our everyday problems, by working with the statement of Allah وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا قَبْلَكَ إِلا رِجَالا نُوحِي إِلَيْهِمْ فَاسْأَلُوا أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ لا تَعْلَمُونَ, “And We did not send before you except men whom We inspired to. So ask the People of the Reminder (Ahl-Azzikr / أهل الذكر ) if you do not know.” (Qur’an 21:6-7) and they are the people of knowledge (i.e. the Ulema of our time and the books of the Ulema of the past). Also working with the statement of Allah Warning Muslims Against Imitating People of the Scriptures
(102. O you who believe! Have Taqwa of Allah as is His due, and die not except as (true) Muslims.) (103. And hold fast, all of you together, to the Rope of Allah, and be not divided among yourselves, and remember Allah’s favor on you, for you were enemies of one another but He joined your hearts together, so that, by His grace, you became brethren, and you were on the brink of a pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus Allah makes His Ayat clear to you, that you may be guided.) |
The Necessity of Referring to the Qur’an and Sunnah for Judgment
﴿فَإِن تَنَازَعْتُمْ فِى شَىْءٍ فَرُدُّوهُ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَالرَّسُولِ﴾ ((And) if you differ in anything amongst yourselves, refer it to Allah and His Messenger). Mujahid and several others among the Salaf said that the Ayah means, “(Refer) to the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger.” This is a command from Allah that whatever areas the people dispute about, whether major or minor areas of the religion, they are required to refer to the Qur’an and Sunnah for judgment concerning these disputes. In another Ayah, Allah said, ﴿وَمَا اخْتَلَفْتُمْ فِيهِ مِن شَىْءٍ فَحُكْمُهُ إِلَى اللَّهِ﴾ (And in whatsoever you differ, the decision thereof is with Allah). Therefore, whatever the Book and Sunnah decide and testify to the truth of, then it, is the plain truth. What is beyond truth, save falsehood This is why Allah said, to us! ﴿إِن كُنتُمْ تُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الاٌّخِرِ﴾ (if you believe in Allah and in the Last Day.) meaning, refer the disputes and conflicts that arise between you to the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger for judgment. Allah’s statement, ﴿إِن كُنتُمْ تُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الاٌّخِرِ﴾ (if you believe in Allah and in the Last Day. ) indicates that those who do not refer to the Book and Sunnah for judgment in their disputes, are not believers in Allah or the Last Day. Allah said, ﴿ذَلِكَ خَيْرٌ﴾ (That is better) meaning, referring to the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger for judgment in various disputes is better, ﴿وَأَحْسَنُ تَأْوِيلاً﴾ (and more suitable for final determination.) meaning, “Has a better end and destination,” as As-Suddi and several others have stated while Mujahid said, “Carries a better reward.” |
Finally to invite the non Muslims to this blessed way of life, Inshallah (by the permission of Allah) This is our call and we call upon all Muslims to assist us in shouldering this responsibility which will awaken and uplift them to spread this pure wholesome message of Islam to all corners of the world, but firstly here at home to our families, and then to our community at large; Inshallah.
